Ever since its inception, sailing has been linked to a sense of freedom and drive for adventure. For many centuries, sailors were considered to be bold and courageous human beings willing to risk their lives for fortune and honor.

We deeply admire the solo sailors that tackled the toughest modern boating race in history “The Vendée Globe” or “The Everest Of The Seas”. Of 167 contenders only 89 have managed to cross the finish line of over 44,000km from Les Sables d'Olonne in France via three capes (Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn). This figure alone shows the extreme difficulty of this global event in which solo racers are confronted with freezing cold, gigantic waves and heavy skies which sweep the Great South in a 2-month competition.

The TYPE-S3 (“The High Tide Edition”) is a design that pays homage to every contestant of “The Vendée Globe”, we honour their courage and ability to push themselves to the limit.

Stepping away from the matte black finish of the S1 and S2, the "High Tide Edition" is a vibrant and energetic watch, designed to bring out your sporty side. It comes in a brushed 316L stainless steel case with custom gunmetal PVD coating. The dial is custom and finished in a sun-ray blue matte with applied Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 hour markers.

We imagine this watch adorning the wrist of a sailor taking part in the Vendee Globe, enduring the harshest of conditions, an extreme quest of endurance and fight, whilst still being able to look down at their wrist and knowing their watch is completely reliable.
