“The Monochrome design”

“95% of the ocean unmapped, more is known about the moon's surface than the ocean depths.” said aquatic filmmaker Fabien Cousteau, grandson of ocean diving pioneer Jacque Cousteau. We know more about outer space than our own oceans; we have better maps of Mars and Venus than the seabed. We chose this striking black colour to create contrast between the gleaming ceramic bezel and the sand-blasted surface of the case. The strap is associated with darkness, mystery, and the unknown. Black is not only sophisticated but has the power to arouse deep emotions and curiosities, just like the mysterious places in the deep blue sea.

Water resistant up to 300 meters (1000 feet) so if you’re diving deep in the ocean or just the swimming pool you can feel safe with this watch and its screw-down crown. The beautiful luminescent hands will stay illuminated throughout your swim. Taken as inspiration from the light penetration through the ocean euphotic zone to the aphotic zone, all dial markers and hands are not only designed for aesthetics but also to improve visibility in dark environments.
